Hi. Been thinking a lot of St. Joseph's lately and remembering they were the happiest days of my school life. Although I only spent 3 years there the school has left a lasting impression and in particular the Head Mr. McNamee who was the most wonderful man and teacher I have ever had. I left in 1972. Wondered if you had any old pictures of the school and the church - lots of happy memories. Does anyone even remember me???

The Nursery Concert was excellent. Well done to all concerned. I was so proud of the children and I thought they were marvellous. It was great to see such a large number of parents and family members in attendance and having such a large audience made the event a special one for the children.

Congratulations to the Girls' Soccer team who have been crowned Northern Ireland champions. This is a marvellous achievement. Well done to Mrs Early, Aaron and Mr Deeney.

I have just been listening again to the school cd and I am hugely impressed with the quality of music in all of the Year Groups. Mrs Mc Kenna has done a wonderful job preparing the musicians. The quality of the music is a credit to her commitment and dedication.

Thanks to all our peripetetic staff - you should be very proud of your students they performed very well indeed. Thanks also to Mrs Connolly and Mrs Leneghan who helped us with conducting etc. and Mr Toal who has been providing recorder tuition throughout the year.

Mrs O'Toole deserves great praise for keeping everything on track during the recording process. Many thanks to John Cullen for his assistance with the recording and production of the cd.

A few copies still remain. Please contact the school office should you wish to purchase one.

It has been so much fun in P4 I am going into P5 in a short

Today I made my First Holy Communion. I couldn't have done it without Mrs Mc Loughlin, Mrs Brennan and Mrs Quinn. Thank you so much. You are the best teachers in the world.

Well done and Thank you to all you lovely P7 children. That was quite definitely our best Greenhill trip ever. I'm sure the beautiful weather helped!!!! I did so enjoy being encouraged to jump into the Death Pool. Freezing!!!!
Seriously, you all did our wonderful school proud with your lovely manners and willingness to get involved in all the activities with so much enthusiasm. I do hope you were not too disappointed to miss " The importance of being Earnest?" I will make sure next years P7 get to it.

Happy Christmas to all at St Joseph's. Glad to see from the website that everyone is still working and performing brilliantly!

There are lods of fun things to do in st.Josephs. Like fun school trips lods of nice teachers.It is such a good SCHOOL.

The Nursery Concerts were marvellous. The children performed so well and Mums and dads were so proud of them. Rightly so!!

The Primary One concert was wonderful also. Well done to all the teachers and assistants.

I was delighted with the Key Stage One Carol Service. It was superb.

Well done to the choir, orchestra, brass band and woodwind group who performed so well at Castlereagh Borough Council's Seasonal Sounds concert. It was a tremendous success and many members of the audience spoke to me after the event praising the children and the quality of the music.

Mrs Mc Kenna and Mr Jones worked extremely hard in rehearsals and the performance was a credit to them. Mr Savage, Mrs Mc Mullan and Mrs Doggart contributed so much in the preparations and on the day itself. We couldn't have done it without them.

A tremendous achievement for the school and a resounding well done to all concerned.

Many thanks to the members of the PFA Committee who worked so hard arranging the Hallowe'en disco. It was a tremendous night. Well done to all the boys and girls who participated so well during the evening and whose behaviour was exemplary as usual. The fancy dress costumes were amazing-it was hard to tell who was who!! We were delighted to see so many parents and teachers joining in the craic. Sincere thanks to all concerned and looking forward to next year already!!

I love St. Joes and I really enjoy all the work we get, even though some is hard and if there was no school what would you do for the rest of those days?

Not a bad website - the school looks very different to when I was a pupil about eleven years ago! Just wanted to say hi to my old teachers - Mr Cunningham, Mr Collins and any others. I've some fantastic memories of the school, mostly involving stories of Leprechauns and Lignagin (probably wrong spelling - sorry Mr Cunningham!).

Hi it's quite good. You could maybe add a photo of the school sign outside the office. I was a past poupil and you've finished the site nicely. The pupils might like it if the calender had poems for each month for example like the calender sold at the American tea. Otherwise great!!
